I bet you’re wondering who this is. LOL:

It’s me! Sarah/JazzFeathers. I’ve just seen that we last talked in January.

I’m so sorry I went missing, but it’s been a very busy year. And you know what? I’ve been busy creating my first creative writing course. I’m finishing the first round of beta, and I’m so excited because I see that people going through this are getting a ton of value from the course and from the interaction in the group.

It’s such a rewarding experience.

I’ve also been thinking about freebies and finally come up with one that I think you’ll enjoy. It’s all about creating characters and a strong protagonist. When you sign up, I’ll send you a few emails explaining how best to use this worksheet at best, which I hope will help you further in this hard task of creating relatable characters.

Grab the freebie HERE!

And last but not least, I’ve posted my first story in ages, LOL!

3 components of a strong narrative conflict

The conflict is the one single component that will make a strong narrative. How to create one that will support and carry the entire story?

READ IT HERE

It’s about conflict because I’ve learned from the beta course that many authors have a hard time pinning it down. I’ll probably write more abotu conflict and how to create it, so watch out this space!

What is your relation with conflict, by the way? I’d love to know.

Drop me a line at sarah@theoldshelter.com and let me know, so I’ll be able to address your doubts in the Cogs and Gears Storyteller.

Talk soon

(I promise I’ll be better at keeping in touch)

Sarah
